I had forgotten that it was Dr. Pomeroy who was behind the station, but I do remember how excited everyone was to have "a voice" on campus. I particularly remember David Penri-Evans' Classical Music program on Sunday evenings - which meant the world to David, even though chances are the audience were pretty small. But the value of having a campus radio station is, in part, what it does for the people running it. Students rarely have the chance to have such an active link between their classes and the real world. The radio station no doubt gave you, David, and others the chance to make that connection - that alone makes it worth keeping!
