I support efforts to keep KSCL as a station that provides a forum for students to air their music and their views on important issues of the day. While not closely involved with the birth of the station, I am a Centenary alumnus of that era. In fact, one of the evening broadcasts during that first year of KSCL featured my collection of Bob Dylan albums. An entire evening of Bob Dylan songs, if you can imagine that. Students need to feel that their voices and their music is important; sharing my collection with anyone who would listen is a fond memory that I cherish. For me, Dylan was a poet, and to this day at the college where I work, I help a new generation of students appreciate poetry. I even force a little Dylan on them now and then. Keep KSCL unique; give students a voice.
