There will always be a place for student-run radio and I thoroughly enjoy tuning in to the local college stations. There is a freshness of perspective and a creativity evident in student programming which deserves to be shared, protected and nurtured.

As one who volunteered at KSCL twenty (oh my GOD!) years ago, how well I remember the struggles we endured as fledgling broadcasters--struggles we hoped and believed would result in the creation of a permanent vehicle for student voices to travel the airwaves. Please, do not silence the voices of Centenary students!

Thank you for reading. Long live CENTENARY'S OWN KSCL-FM!!
